“It’s exactly what I hoped it would be, the way it came out. It has one of those genuine stories for me. It was meant to be on this album. It was just bigger than me. It became a part of my life.”
The stripped down track features Michele’s vocals at the forefront for the majority of the song, the second single off of her forthcoming album ‘Louder.’
“I’m really loving collaboration right now. I see it as a bit of an apprenticeship. I want to be around people who love writing songs and have done it for years,” she said.
Just as music fans are wrapping up the year and looking ahead to 2014 comes a reminder that it’s not over ’til the Queen Bey sings.
“Louder really encompasses my experiences over this past year and my journey as an artist up to this point. There’s a lot of emotion but it’s also very encouraging and hopeful—it’s about pushing forward and living your life in a way that’s louder, stronger and bolder,” she said.
