Yesterday, it was revealed that Madonna would be teaming up with Miley Cyrus for the Bangerz singer’s upcoming MTV Unplugged special. But now it seems that the two are going a little bit country for tonight’s show.
When Miley Cyrus takes the stage in New York City tonight (Jan. 28) for the latest edition of MTV’s long-running Unplugged series, she’ll be joined by someone who could teach even her a thing or two about controversial pop: Madonna.
“We wanted this beach with girls kind of sulky and broody, and we thought it would be cool if it was Miley with what could be two friends, feeling distant and quite dark,” Marc Jacobs said.
Miley Cyrus literally stripped down for the rather steamy video for “Adore You and now she’s stripping down once again for an acoustic version of the song.
“I didn’t know that I was going to be the only one that was really going to push it like that,” she said in regards to her performance dominating the post-VMAs conversation.
