The Milton Inn: By The Hearth

This beloved historic inn has a lot of “old” and “new’ charm. Steeped in Maryland history, the Sparks restaurant has been serving some pretty amazing meals since the mid 40’s. See what I discovered about their “hearth” dining for the holiday season. Below, the photo gallery from recent visit and the history of the Milton Inn.

Holiday Window Shopping: Bel Air

I have considered myself blessed to have grown up in a small town, called Bel Air. I bought my parents house and have lived there all my life. During the Christmas season, I like to wander thru town and do a little “window shopping”. Look at my photo gallery, see if you can identify some of the stores on Main Street.

Colonial Christmas Mt Vernon VA

My husband and I visited George Washington homestead, Mt. Vernon. It is very nice during the holiday season. For lunch, we ate at the historic Mt. Vernon Tavern. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! The menu was like going back in time to Colonial Williamsburg. See my photo gallery.
