Sunday Night Football may be months away, but football fans will soon get a sneak peak at Carrie Underwood‘s version of the sport’s theme song in 19,000 movie theaters across the U.S.

The third annual Global Citizen Festival will take place in New York City on Saturday, Sept. 27 and will feature a star-studded lineup featuring artists across several genres including hip-hop, rock, country and EDM.
He wasn’t in attendance, but that didn’t stop Justin Timberlake from having a pretty solid night at the Billboard Music Awards.
“So many young girls want to be just like her. In that sense, I see hope for the world. If I had a daughter, nothing would make me happier than to hear her say she wanted to grow up to be like Carrie Underwood,” Brad Paisley writes.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony used to be a drunken, freewheeling event that would stretch to all hours of the night. Today it’s an arena-rock spectacle with stunning moments that won’t soon be forgotten.
It’s easy to forget that most of those songs that make you dance and cry and laugh and love are written by filthy rich, savvy business people.
“I have been blessed with so many amazing things in my life and I’ve always been taught to receive much, you must give much,” she said.
“As far as my nails, I like being dramatic onstage and having fun and doing something that I might not do in my everyday life. It’s all about playing a character. I would definitely throw on my shade, my signature shade, for something a little darker,” Underwood said.
