Enchanted Forest Park Moved

(Pictured Me at Enchanted Forest) I was sad to read that the final Enchanted Forest storybook theme park figures, castle, etc. will be taken down at the Enchanted Forest Shopping Center. That theme park was a big part of my childhood. Before I went to Walt Disney World in my 20’s, Enchanted Forest was the only theme park I knew. Our “Disneyland” here in Maryland opened in 1955, in Ellicott City. It closed in 1989. Read on to find out what will become of those retro pieces of our kiddie heritage. Plus see a few throwback pics from a visit to Enchanted Forest when I was a kid….
