Monday blues got you down? Turns out you’re not alone. According to a new study of over 3,000 US workers, 1 in 5 say they face a hostile or threatening environment at work.
The study, conducted by the Rand Corporation, also found 55% of respondents admit to working through unpleasant and even hazardous conditions. And it looks like that work from home trend doesn’t apply to everyone across the country, 78% say they are required to be present. In all fairness jobs like construction or other labor intensive jobs would be hard to do from your living room office, but it’s not all bad news for American workers. 80% also said they’re solving problems and running with their own ideas and good people help.
The majority said their bosses are supportive and they had friends at work friends who don’t make you feel bad about eating leftover birthday cake.
