The Wrong Side Of The Bed Is Actually A Thing!

Turns out there is such thing as getting out of bed on the wrong side.

Those getting out on the right side tend to be grumpier and more tired than those getting out of the bed on the left side.

The study, by iron supplement Spatone, of 2000 adults found that nine out of ten right-side risers also take longer to shift their bad mood and are more likely to see their work affected by their tiredness.

Suffering from bad shuteye is the most common cause of morning grumpiness. Stress, early wake up calls and wacky weather are also to blame.

57% of people believe it’s possible to get out of bed on the wrong side, one in ten try changing their sides to see if there‚Äôs a difference in their mood.

The result being those left-siders say their mood starts to pick up at 9:07am, the right-siders only start to feel happier at 9:22am. Those who get out of bed on the right are more likely to wake up feeling tired and grumpy, with 77% saying this is the case for them compared to 75% of those who jump out of bed on the left.
