Ikea may now be opening standalone restaurants and cafes, after finding out that 30% of their customers showed up to their stores just to eat!
The Swedish company is now toying with the idea of of expanding their food division into cafes in city centers. Their food sales in 2016 reached the $1.8 billion mark according to a Fast Company report.
Ikea has set up pop-up restaurants in London, Paris and Oslo and have been a total success.
