Maryland’s Carroll County Goes All Out For 10th Easter PEEPShow

Easter is right around the corner and the people in Maryland’s Carroll County are coming out in full force…with peeps that is.

It’s the 10th anniversary of the PEEPShow, held by the county’s Arts Council, where participants make characters and sculptures out of peeps.

A favorite is Disney’s Beauty and The Beast’s, Belle. Belle was created out of about 1,500 peeps by designer and baker, Candace Birger.

Other sculptured peeps include surfing Pickachu which is currently number 1 on the leaderboard, Mr Peep-tatoe head coming in the top 10, and “our presidents” a peep USA flag taking number 13 on the leaderboard.

The sculptured peeps are battling it out for first place via votes. Voting continues until April 19 for $1 per vote. These donations go towards supporting the Carroll County Arts Council.

Happy Easter.
