The legendary singer has been working on tracks for her next record with Daryl Simmons and Babyface.

According to BillboardDon Was had signed on to do a few tracks as well, but when scheduling conflicts forced him to bow out, Outkast‘s Andre 3000 stepped in to work on four tracks.

The album is said to be due in September, with Franklin admitting that “Clive is concerned, but we’re on it. We are on it.”
