This weekend I am going to my first Vintage Tag Sale/Barn Sale. What, where and when are these sales? Here’s the skinny….

The Painted Mill in Fallston, located on historic Main Street of Old Fallston. Their sale weekend is the last full weekend of the month…Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm. Vintage Tag Sale also know as a Barn Sale, is where they sell furniture, décor, jewelry and one of kinds. It can be unclaimed freight, antiques and crafts.

Many of Maryland counties have Vintage Tag Sale/Barn Sales. This one in Harford County, is location in a old feed warehouse once owned by the Reckord Family of Harford County. It was part of the MA/PA Railroad, built-in the 1800’s. The part of the railroad that ran through Fallston only ran from 1901 to 1954, transporting supplies like feed.
