A man blogging about hot dogs, travels 11,480 miles in search of hot dog perfection, and has found it in Baltimore!
“I was pleased to give Baltimore the top score, but I was not surprised because of the history and reputation Orioles Park has,” Tom Lohr, 52, of Tulsa, “I don’t give anybody points they don’t deserve.”
The hot dogs were graded on a 1-5 scale with bun, taste, toppings, price, portability, and the “it factor”. Parks were graded almost the same with location, access, cleanliness, ambiance, general admission ticket price, and fans on a 1-5 scale. Lohr traveled to 22 MLB parks and 17 minor league stadiums before finding the perfect “frank”. He said he is a fan of the Esskay hot dog. To read more about his travels on his blog.
