This is an ancient Indian practice and at least 3,000 years old, part of the ayurvedic system of holistic medicine. Some people today claim it can help with headaches, allergies, diabetes and asthma.
Here’s what you do: Gargle with about a teaspoon of non-animal-based oil, preferably organic, every day for about 20 minutes. Do not swallow, spit into a trash can. It will clog the pipes in your sink:)
