Michael Jackson fans were most delighted with the release of the new Justin Timberlake-assisted single, “Love Never Felt So Good” last week, and now they have another track called “Chicago” to tide them over until his posthumous full-length, Xscape, officially drops on May 13.
According to CNN, this new song was originally known as “She Was Lovin’ Me,” and was slated for the 2001 full-length, Invincible, but didn’t make the cut. The song, which was recorded at New York City’s Hit Factory from a demo he received from songwriter Cory Rooney, is one MJ “fell in love with” immediately, flying to New York to record the tune just days after hearing it. This new version was produced by Timbaland, who teased the track in an interview with Revolt last year.
