As the saying goes, “Just do it!”
That is exactly what I did yesterday afternoon. I could have made every excuse in the book as to why I couldn’t fit in a walk but I strapped my almost 2-year-old Godson in his stroller and headed out. It felt GREAT! And not only did I feel better physically but emotionally as well. On my walk, I had a conversation with a homeless man on the corner and surprisingly, he was a ray of sunshine. Then I encountered a friend I haven’t seen in a few months and she noticed my weight loss. Boy, did that feel good. When I got home, my 13-year-old had our puppy in the front yard playing and everything seemed right with the world.
So if you are tempted to go for a walk today…JUST DO IT!
