Christmas Stories!

Poor John Travolta…he really butchered Idina Menzel’s name during the Oscars. Before the performance of her song from “Frozen,” he flubbed her introduction and announced her as Adele Dazeem.

Clearly, he had practiced her name back stage and then when he tried to recall how to say it, it came out as something completely different. Even though I feel sorry for him, I have had quite a few laughs over it. And that got me thinking about other things that make me laugh. I have a problem with laughing when people fall. It really hits my “funny bone.”

To make matters worse, when I know I shouldn’t be laughing, it makes me giggle harder. Also, I think spoonerisms are hysterical! A spoonerism is when a person mixes up the first letters of words, for example, instead of kitty litter, you might say litty kitter. Just typing this has me chuckling to myself. I am hopeless when this happens. I just keep my fingers crossed that it doesn’t happen too often on the air.

Have you had a good laugh today?
