Last Remaining Covered Bridge In Harford/Baltimore Counties~

It’s a beautiful and rare sight! The Jericho Covered Bridge is the last remaining covered bridge in Harford or Baltimore counties and crosses the Little Gunpowder Falls. You can just imagine horse drawn vehicles rumbling through it with the sound of horses pulling their passengers echoing off the bridge’s walls. The 909-foot Burr truss bridge—in all its glory—was built by Thomas F. Forsyth, a Baltimore City machinist, in 1865 as a cooperative effort of Baltimore and Harford counties.
