You Spend How Much on Work? Time For Raise

The Daily Mail says workers spend about $5000 a year on work.  Most of that is on commuting expenses.  We spend about $3000 on gas, tolls, parking expenses, or public transportation.  We spend about $1000 on lunches.  More cash goes out for clothing….about $300 a year. (seems low) We spend money all over the place for work.  Don’t forget all of the charity funds such as races, candy, gift wrapping, and Girl Scout cookies.  So, with all of this spending on and for work maybe we all go in to the boss and ask for a raise.  Let’s see how that works!
