You know the Stevie Wonder song, baseball players “are” superstitous. Here’s a couple of the rituals revealed. Oriole Matt Wieters says…..
He sticks to a routine. “I like to get to the ballpark the same time every day. It’s just a matter of going through my routine, get into the hot tub to get loose, go through my extra work”.

Darren O’Day says “We have goofy handshakes in the bullpen. Plus Jim Johnson won’t let anybody sit in his seat.”

Lew Ford said “If you had a big day, I don’t think I’d wash my underclothes, which is kind of gross. If you are in slump or something you throw everything away. Burn it.”

Who was it who would sleep with their bat under their bed before a game?
