Christmas Stories!

Ever wondered how that stuff is made?  I will break it down for you.  The skinny on plum pudding, mulled cider and cranberry sauce.   Are there really plums in plum pudding?   This English holiday dessert dates back to the middle ages and it doesn’t have plums.  Instead, suet, flour, sugar, raisins, nuts and spices.  What about mulled cider.  What does it mean, ‘mulled’?  It means steeping the cider with spices like cloves, cinnamon and rum.  Your favorite, cranberry sauce is made by bringing fresh cranberries, sugar and spices to a boil and cook for 20 minutes.  Or, simply open a can and you are good to go!
