The Storm That Changed Ocean City

The hurricane of 1933, formed Ocean City’s Inlet.  Did you know, there were train tracks cross the Sinepuxent Bay that were destroyed. The inlet separated what is now Ocean City from Assateague Island.  I wonder if the island was still intact, if Assateague would have condos on it?  We will never know.  I am glad Assateague is a park.  It worked out for the best.
