Kris Allen is making some changes when it comes to his career.
In a recent interview, the American Idol winner confirmed that he is no longer with 19 Management, who signed him after winning the eighth season of the reality show and usually handles the winning Idols.
The singer has now signed with Stirling McIlwaine at Pearl Group Entertainment, according to The Hollywood Reporter. McIIwaine also manages fellow AI alum, Chris Daughtry.
But this hasn’t stopped Kris from promoting his latest album, Thank You Camilla, which was released in May. In fact he’s getting ready to put out the second single from his sophomore record.
Though he’s playing coy about exactly which song it will be, Kris hinted that it will be one of the more “uptempo” songs on the record.
Since Kris’ album is on the slower-paced side, it looks like there’s only a few possibilities: “Better With You,” a Jason Mraz-ish love song or “Monster,” a rap-rock infused fan favorite that Kris has been playing for a few years.
Watch the video for Kris’ first single, “The Vision of Love,” below and let us know, which song you would you like to see him release next.
