That big, shiny, steaming turkey presented so beautifully on the center of the table might have everyone’s attention on Thanksgiving Day, but the side dishes that compliment it are just as important. Here is a list of some Thanksgiving favorites.

You really can’t go wrong with this simple, yet essential Thanksgiving side dish. It’s simplicity allows you to add your own twist. Turn typical cornbread into cornbread muffins, or maybe try a Mexican recipe- add jalapenos to spice things up…literally.
It isn’t Thanksgiving unless there’s stuffing on the table. There’s many different options for this side dish- you can actually stuff the turkey with it, or just serve it alongside your meat and other sides. Add vegetables, fruit, meat, herbs (or a combination!) to create an exceptional turkey recipe.
5. Cranberry Sauce
Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way it is a Thanksgiving classic and who can deny how pretty it looks sitting on the table with all those other delectable dishes?
Boring? Not on Thanksgiving! Jazz up your typical side dishes, like corn and green beans, by turning them into casseroles, throwing in some extra ingredients, or pairing them with other menu items.
