Here’s the latest on what we have as far as the storm is concerned.  Of course, details will change all weekend.  We will keep you updated on 101.9 Lite FM along with our TV partner WJZ 13.

We have a tropical storm watch here in Baltimore.  Hurricane warnings are up for Ocean City and the Delmarva beaches.  The heaviest part of the storm will occur Saturday evening until Sunday at about noon. Baltimore could see wind from 40 -50 mph and gusts up to 60 mph.  Look for about 6 – 10 inches of rain.  The avg will be about 8 inches of rain.

Ocean City has ordered evacuations for the barrier island.

Sand bags are available in Baltimore City at the former ESPN Zone location, Rash Field, and at Broadway at Thames St. in Fells Point.

Towson University students move into dorms on different days than originally scheduled.  Freshman move in on Monday and others move in on Tuesday.

University of Maryland students are to move in before the storm.

The Coast Guard is urging people to be off of the Chesapeake Bay.
