We love this energetic duet between Van Morrison and Linda Gail Lew. It makes us instantly feel like we are partying it up on the Bayou. It also makes us incredibly hungry:

Jambalaya, a-crawfish pie and-a file gumbo/’Cause tonight I’m gonna see my ma cher amio/Pick guitar, fill fruit jar and be gay-oh/Son of a gun, we’ll have big fun on the bayou.

  • There are so many fabulous songs about Louisiana and New Orleans, we know we missed a few. What are some of your favorite Louisiana and New Orleans themed songs? Let us know in the comments!
