Jack LeLanne, the person responsible for starting the fitness craze in the 50s, died last weekend of pneumonia at age 96.
Jack LeLanne was at one time a “sugar-holic.” He became a TV fixture in his tight-fitting jumpsuit in the late 50s, preaching exercise and a healthy diet. Many said his that his televised exercises would not last long…well they did! For 30 years!
