Anne Hathaway just announced she’s headed to the hallways of McKinley High on an upcoming episode of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Glee[/lastfm]. Guess which character she’ll be playing…
The show’s executive producer, Brad Falchuck, has confirmed Anne Hathaway will appear on Glee as Kurt’s ([lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Chris Colfer[/lastfm]) lesbian aunt.
“It was her idea, and [with] someone like her, it’s sort of hard to say no!” Falchuck told Us Weekly at Sunday’s Fox Golden Globes after party. “We don’t generally get excited about guest stars just for the sake of guest stars, but when you have someone like Gwyneth [Paltrow] or Anne Hathaway, where you can say ‘They are amazing,’…they are big gifts to you.”
Hathaway voiced her desire to appear on the show during the Golden Globes. By the end of the evening, Glee won the Globe for Best Comedy Series AND Hathaway’s team had cut a deal for the superstar to appear on the show. Who had the better evening, Hathaway or the cast and crew of the hit series? Tell us in the comments below.
