Bon Jovi Tops Touring Acts in 2010
2010 has been good for the New Jersey rocker. Bon Jovi ends 2010 as the world’s top-grossing touring act.
Bon Jovi earned a nice $201 million for its “The Circle” trek, which launched in Hawaii last February and brought him to DC.
Also on the list veteran rockers AC/DC, which grossed $177 million with its “Black Ice” tour. Just behind the Aussies comes Bono and U2 at third place, pulling in nearly $170 million for its “360 Tour.”
Pop sensation Lady Gaga is fourth on the list with $133 million in ticket sales. Two thirds of her tickets sales were outside of the US!
