The Best Of “Glee’s” Sue Sylvester And Brittany
They’re not the leads, they don’t have the biggest parts, but Sue Sylvester and Brittany are two of our favorite characters on “Glee.” Check out some of the best moments from the Terror and the Jester of McKinley High!
How We See “How Sue Sees It:”
Sue: “I have to be honest, Will, I’m having a really difficult time hearing anything you have to say today because your hair looks like a brier patch. I keep expecting racist animated Disney characters to pop up and start singing songs about living on the bayou.”
Sue: “When you hear your name called, cross over to my side of this black shiny thing.”
Will: “That’s called a piano, Sue.”
Sue: “Santana. Wheels. Gay kid. C’mon, move it! Asian. Other Asian. Aretha. And Shaft.”
Sue: “Y’know, for me, trophies are like herpes. You can try to get rid of ’em, but they just keep coming.”
Sue: “I will go to the animal shelter and get you a kitty-kat. I will let you fall in love with that kitty-kat. Then, on some dark, cold night, I will steal away into your home and punch you in the face.”
Sue: “So here’s the dream: Friday after Christmas, which I have off…if you’re hideous, stay home.”
Sue: “You wear more vests than the cast of ‘Blossom’.”
Brittany: “When I pulled my hamstring, I went to a misogynist.”
Brittany (on “hair dancing”): “You guys, it’s like cool epilepsy.”
Brittany, to Santana: “Did you know that dolphins are just gay sharks?”
Sue: “Anything else?”
Brittany: “Sometimes I forget my middle name.”
Brittany: “I’ve been here since first period. I had a cold. I took all of my antibiotics at the same time. Now, I can’t remember how to leave.”
