Would you do an in-store wedding?
Women are opting for retail weddings and getting it for free. Good or bad idea?
The Home Depot, most recently in June, a bride and groom — both employees of the store — walked down an aisle set up in the garden department of a California Home Depot while family, friends and customers watched. Home Depot doesn’t charge for the weddings. (Diane says): Why should they. It’s beautiful in the garden area of the store!!!!!
Two employees at an Ohio, Cold Stone Creamery, chose the ice cream store as the site for their June nuptials. Store owners agreed to a late opening for the wedding and didn’t charge for the ceremony. (DL) One dip or two here? LOL
One couple said “I do” at an Illinois Taco Bell last January, while customers ordered tacos . According to a Taco Bell spokesman, the restaurant typically hosts about one wedding per year and doesn’t charge for the ceremonies. (DL) Hold the refried beans, especially in honor of the honeymoon:)
